Warehouse management

Warehouse and storehouse management is not a science taught in schools in Romania. Although a lot of companies use merchandise stocks and inventory, raw materials, spare parts, packaging, etc in their activity, they are having trouble effectively managing them. Why? Because know-how is missing in most cases and so are the trained people or an efficient system working with strict rules and internal discipline. Stock accuracy is highly dependent on the quality of the inventory process implemented.

An inventory process realized without the existence of the required conditions for a legal compliant warehouse management does not insure a sustainable stock accuracy.
